Great chance for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a lovely team within a respected, established business.My Wilmslow-based client requires an Assistant Accountant to join their existing team on account of a retirement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who may already have an AAT qualification or a CIMA/ACCA part-qualified accountant with some levelof prior experience of working in a finance / management accounting department. You will receive study support for CIMA/ACCA.An office based role, you will be reporting to a supportive and experienced Finance Director. The core purpose of this role is to produce key reports used by the business. This will include sales and KPI reporting against periodic and annual targets.Duties will be varied but will include:- * Produce sales reports, carry out variance analysis and present findings.* Analyse regional performance against quarterly targets and prepare detailed variance analysis.* Responsibility for the sales release process and ensure pricing comparators are accurate and up to date.* Assist the commercial teams and regional finance managers with cost transfers and labour cost information.* Provide support for the wider business such as payroll, ledger and finance teams.* Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts and audit requests.* Assist with weekly cashflows and forecast affordable housing revenues.* Assist with monthly management reporting and period end processesThis is an attractive opportunity with a welcoming, stable business who have an excellent record in staff retention, bonus and benefits.Previous experience within accounts is essential.To be considered please apply.
