Job Description

CareTech Fostering Services provide children and young people unable to live with their family safe, secure and nurturing foster placements. Meeting the needs and aspirations of children is at the heart of everything we do!Outlook Contact Services are sourcing Sessional Support Workers on a self-employed zero hour basis to join our current team! As a Sessional Support Worker you will offer support to the lead Person / Contact Supervisor, take the lead in Supervised ContactsKey Qualities

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Transport Children or Young People to meetings / contacts and any other activities
  • Ensure your transport meets legal and agency Health & Safety requirements
  • To observe and implement the agency’s Child Protection and Safe Guarding Policies and Procedures
  • Report Concerns to line manager, especially safeguarding
  • Support Children & Young People in maintaining contact with birth families and siblings
  • Undertake supervised contact with Children’s Families
  • To Liaise with Foster Carers
  • To understand Family Law
  • Able to work unsocial hours on an Adhoc basis
