To provide effective patient care whilst working as a member of the nursing team across East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust. To ensure the maintenance of high standards of patient care in response to service needs. Cardiac Care work closely with the Catheter Suite and Bartholomew Ward, the cardiology ward and may often assist in each area. The William Harvey Hospital is the Heart centre for Kent and Medway and therefore the post holder will be eventually expected to participate in the Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (pPCI) procedures out of hours. Training in this would be provided.
