The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in Emergency Gynaecology/ambulatory unit, liaising with those involved to ensure the appropriate imaging, reporting and management of the patient is provided when necessary.The post holder will work within established quality standards of practice, adhering to Ultrasound Guidelines such as BMUS< RCOG and NICE guidelines for clinical excellence.The post holder will work as a practitioner in the delivery of all ultrasound imaging, reporting within the department protocols as ratified and as agreed by Clinical Director for Gynaecology. The post holder will liaise with key Lead Nurses, Obstetricians and Gynaecologist in the Women’s and childrens care group.In the absence of the Unit manager, the post holder will oversee the day to day workload, assisting colleagues as required, ensuring staff and resources allocated to the area or modality are managed effectively.
