An opportunity has arisen in the corporate team, for a dynamic and enthusiastic registered nurse to join our forward-thinking Workforce Development Team as a Clinical Skills & Learning Facilitator. The role supports and develops the nursing workforce by providing in house training and work based clinical support to ensure proficiency in practice.The ideal candidate would have experience in practice development, be familiar with the NMC requirements for student nurse training and nursing associates, have a working knowledge of preceptorship and the care certificate. The candidate will need to demonstrate competence in their own clinical skills, and have confidence to deliver training within a classroom environment.The main duties of this role include:• Work alongside students and apprentices on shift, when necessary to contribute to the learning environment.• Work in clinical practice to support nurses and Health Care Support Workers to achieve competency in clinical skills• Deliver education and training programmes in clinical skills for registered nurses, apprentices, health care support workers, students, and allied health care professionals• Support overseas nurse to achieve the entry requirements for the NMC register• Participate in and facilitate the preceptorship programme• Assist Health Care Support workers to complete the care certificate programme• Work with the workforce development education and training team to develop future programmes.• Work clinically to maintain competenceThis advert closes on Monday 4 May 2020
