EAST KENT HOSPITALS UNIVERSITY NHS FOUNDATION TRUSTDEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY Assistant Healthcare Scientist BAND 2, (£18,005 - £19,337) Cellular Pathology1 Full Time posts 37.50 hours An opportunity has arisen for the position of an Assistant Healthcare scientist to join our Cellular Pathology Department at William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, which processes over 50,000 requests per annum and employs over 70 staff.We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated applicants to provide support and assist in the all areas of the laboratory, working as part of a team to deliver a high quality Histopathology service.The post holder will possess good keyboard skills, a high level of accuracy, and must be a good team player with a flexible approach to working. Duties include data entry, Specimen reception, reagent preparation, general maintenance and stock control.We currently hold UKAS Accreditation, an HTA Licence and are an IBMS training laboratory.Before applying, we encourage you to review the Trust’s vision, mission and values, which can be found in our candidate information pack.
