Job Description

Would you like the opportunity to work for one of the biggest suppliers of tools and equipment through an easy and innovative online serviceAre you a Highly analytic individual with good data skillsMy client is looking for a Digital Merchandiser to join their growing business on a full-time basis.This role is a new role within a growing team who have a responsibility for launching new products on to our in-house system (currently we have 1.4 millionproducts live) as well as continually enriching existing product information. As you can imagine we deal with a lot of data, which is not always provided in a structured format, so this role is suited to someone who is equally comfortable with loading filesbut also manipulating content files, seeking to continuously improve processes and ways of ingesting content at scale.Salary: £26,500Location: Wigston (3/4 days working from home)E-Commerce Merchandiser Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for ensuring that product templates are created and loaded to defined quality standards.
  • Liaise with supplier management and suppliers to ensure content is supplied in line with requirements
  • Working within defined guidelines and processes make content improvements
  • Seek to continuously improve the performance of processes and tools used 6. Suggest and implement changes based on performance reporting
  • Work across merchandising, supplier management, development, and analytics teams to build out solutions
  • Be pro-active in troubleshooting day to day issues to resolve issues
  • Support in development of automated tools and processes to rapidly scale content
Preferred Education
  • Evidence of experience/ interest in pursuing a career in Data management/ Automation
  • Strong Excel skills
  • SQL experience is desired but not essential
