Our client, a dynamic and growing Training Provider are looking to recruit a Health and Social Care Trainer/ Skills Coach to join their growing team.This role is field based with travel required to train, coach and deliver level 2 qualifications in Health and Social or CYPD to learners.The Qualification is a short course, lasting 12 weeks for learners who are in part or full employment.Health and Social Care Trainer/Assessor overview:This is an assessment role managing a caseload of learners with direct delivery and will involve:-Planning, delivering and assessing on the L2 Health and Social Care or CYPW Programme-Supporting the Programme Delivery Manager to ensure the assessment process consistently meets national occupational standards and the requirements of Awarding bodies, ESFA and Ofsted-Planning and designing specific industry standard learning programmes in Health and Social Care technical competencies, behaviours and relationships-Delivery of Training and Learning in a workshop/classroom setting-Assessing the Outcome of Learning and Learners Achievements-Monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own practise, and help to raise the standards of teaching and learning in the company-Deliver excellent customer care - deal confidently with staff, students and other external customers demonstrating respect and dignity at all times to deliver high levels of satisfaction and customer service.Skills and Experience Required for the Health and Social Care Trainer/Coach:-Relevant experience in Health and Social Care, CYPW or Early Years-Experience of coaching and assessing in Health and Social Care Programmes-Level 3 or higher qualification in relevant occupational area-Minimum of PTLLS qualification or Award in Education and Training(AET)-Assessing award - CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32, D33-Experience of planning and delivering training flexibly in the workplace-Ability to meet targets of timely success within work based delivery models.-Own Transport and flexibility to travelOur client is offering a highly competitive package for this role including an excellent basic salary between £25000-£27000 per annum depending on experience, mileage paid from home, 23 days holiday and a contributory pension scheme.For more information please contact Simon Atkins at Pertemps NewcastleKeywords: Health and Social Care Trainer, Health and Social Care Assessor, Skills Coach, Health and Social Level 3, A1 Assessor, TAQA, CAVA, D32, D33, PTLLS, Award in Education and Training, CYPW, Child Care Trainer, Early Years Assessor
