Here at Serco Workforce Solutions, using your excellent people skills youll do this through a variety of customer duties including hosting the entrance of security areas, managing various queues, assisting customers correctly and answering questions.Inshort, youll be at the forefront of the customer experience and help to ensure security can be navigated quickly and safely. You wont be doing this on your own though as youll be working as part of a diverse, friendly and welcoming team who will supportyou with all the training you need to get started.What youll need to do the roleCustomer Service experience is required however, youll also be given 4 weeks training course along with your uniform. What you will need though is great communications skills(ideally gained in customer service environment), a customer centric attitude, and attention to detail. You will have the ability to assess a situation and deal appropriately to improve or diffuse accordingly.The role can be physically demanding as youllbe standing, bending, walking, and manually handling equipment and personal items throughout the shift.Finally, due to the nature of the role, youll need to have resided in the UK for at least three years in order to obtain CounterTerrorismClearance andCriminal Record checks (Basic DBS)We are unable to process any applications from candidates who have not lived in the UK for the previous three years due to the nature of our checks.
