Job Description

Residential Conveyancing Paralegal, Leasehold, Freehold, Residential Property, Sales & Purchases, Remortgage, Permanent, WiganA Residential Property Paralegal is required by a multi-service Law Firm based in Wigan. They are a long established Solicitors for over 120 years and are looking for a dynamic individual who will make an immediate impact on joining the firm, who is ambitiousand able to progress in the Residential Conveyancing Department at their Head Office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience within a Residential Conveyancing role, who can assist in the running of a varied caseload and willing to expand their knowledge to other aspects of Law. The role premises a fantastic career/lifestyle balance and to the right candidate, potential career progression including the possibility of a training contract within the Practice in the future. This is an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal looking for personal and career growth opportunities; allowing you to build upon your experience within a dynamic practice.The Role & Required Skills/Experience:

  • Your Caseload will consist of Residential Conveyancing matters, to include: leasehold, freehold, sales, purchases, remortgages.
  • Enthusiastic about developing your career in Residential Conveyancing.
  • Confident in your ability to work independently on your own caseload and meet strict deadlines.
  • The use of a Case management system.
  • Take instructions from clients.
  • Seek to protect clients interests at all times, while taking precautions against potential fraud and money laundering.
  • Send terms of engagement and estimates of fees and disbursements.
  • Obtain or check Land Registry documents or title deeds (if the land is unregistered).
  • Draft or check sales contracts and agree terms with the conveyancer acting for the other party to the transaction.
  • Collate and send or check supporting legal and financial documents.
  • Deal with all financial aspects of a transaction.
  • The candidate must be ideally located within 10 miles of the office.
SalaryMinimum Wage rate applies to the advertised position but Salary could be negotiable dependent on experience. Vacancy Information:
