Quality ControllerWigan£20,000 p/aFull time / Permanent Our client is a leading banana ripening and service provision supplier in the UK market with two ripening facilities strategically placed in the north and south of the country.They are committed to a strong and consistent CSR policy with over 18,000 employees, producing over 460,000 tonnes of fruit and vegetables, distributing over 673,000 tonnes of bananas and selling to over 45 countries globally.We are currently recruiting for a full-time/permanent Quality Controller to be based at their Wigan depot, working 5 days out of 7, 40 hours per week.Duties/responsibilities• Carry out quality inspections to the quality manual and customer specifications• Generate reports• Advise on quality issues• Complete positive release of outbound productsCriteria• Enthusiastic to learn• Self motivated• Ability to meet targets and deadlines• Excellent communication skills• Attention to detail• Previous QC experienceSalary £20,000 plus excellent benefitsInterpersonnel are operating as an Employment Agency for our client for this particular role.
