We are looking for someone to help provide Porter serviceWould you like to be part of a team that has a real supportive and inclusive ethos and sense of communityIf you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you!We have temporary placement opportunities available for a Porter at Wrightington Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.This is a full-time position initially working Monday - Friday 9.00 - 17.00To support the provision of clinical services throughout the Trust, undertaking the movement of patients goods and waste as required.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the site portering team you will undertake a wide range of duties as directed by CT Department in Radiology.Required to undertake the movement of patients and goods as required.Using equipment as directed.Support the provision of clinical services to Wards and Departments.Planning and Organisational Duties* Undertakes daily tasks as requested by the CT Lead.* Movement of patients by bed chair or trolley.* Movement of goods, eg. dirty linen & waste.* Satisfactory performance of duties as laid down in Department Operational Policies, in accordance with approved methods, frequencies and standards.* Use of equipment and machinery as directed.In return for your hard work commitment NHS Professionals (NHSP) can offer you some fantastic benefits: -
