Job Description

Page Personnel are working alongside a very successful company based in Wigan. They are seeking a diligent and competent Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance department. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of financial regulationsand a keen eye for detail.Client DetailsOur client is a leading entity in the industrial/manufacturing sector, employing over 500 individuals. They are known for their commitment to innovation and quality, and they maintain a significant presence in the Wigan area.DescriptionYou will be responsible for:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions.
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.
  • Create budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate activities of external auditors.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls.
  • Mentor and develop the accounting team.
ProfileA successful Management Accountant should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification or part qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
