We are currently supporting an industry leading manufacturing business who are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Manager to their senior management team.Reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance this role is key to managing all maintenance related activities across a busy and expanding plant as well as ensuring all production operational objectives are met through effective man management and strategic planning.The CompanyAs part of a worldwide manufacturing conglomerate known for its innovative approach and state-of-the-art technology, this forward-thinking Company is recruiting talented individuals to become part of its supportive team and reach their full potential.Salary:- £50,000-£55,000 plus 15% bonus and additional benefitsHours:- Day Shift (40hrs) Monday - FridayDevelopment:- You will receive ongoing training and development to further your career through internal and external avenues.Location:- WiganJob DescriptionThe main responsibility for this role is to lead the overall maintenance strategy for the Wigan manufacturing site, managing a multi-disciplined production team to ensure all maintenance activities are managed and completed effectively to key performance indicators.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all manufacturing maintenance activities across the siteDevelop and maintain an efficient Planned Maintenance SystemEnsure appropriate resources and time are available for the application of maintenance strategiesEnsure weekly maintenance review and planning meeting are routinely occurring and effectiveMonitor plant operational efficiency and reliability identifying areas of underperformance and implement plans to deliver improvementsBudget management for spares across siteRoutinely monitor of KPI’s to improve overall performanceAudit CMMS (Computerised Maint. Management System) ensuring breakdowns/repairs are loggedExperience & Skills RequiredDegree or HNC/D in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline3+ years of Maintenance management/supervisory experienceHand on management approachManagement experience in a fast paced production / manufacturing environment.Understanding and working application of a CMMS systemKnowledge and application of UK regulatory standardsWhats on OfferOur Client is offering a salary of up to £55,000 plus a 15% bonus and additional attractive benefits package.
