Learning Support AssistantAre you a Teaching or Learning Support Assistant with a passion for students with additional needs or who are facing challenges to their learning Do you have experience supporting young people with special educational needs If so, this could be the opportunityyou have been searching for!Tradewind Recruitment is working with a high achieving, inclusive mainstream Primary School on the outskirts of Wigan who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a long-term temporary contractthat will commence immediately and run until the end of the academic year in the first instance and offer £10.65 - £11.98 per hour based on experience. This role is until July 2022 with the potential to extend on longer.As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 who have mild special educational needs or who are facing challenges to their education. Through in class support and the delivery of specific learning and structuredacademic intervention programmes to small groups of students, you will work towards achieving the individual goals of these students with the support of an encouraging inclusion team.The successful candidate will ideally have prior experience working with adults, young people or children with special educational needs.
