Job Description

An exciting position has come up for this prestigeous business managing a sales team looking after Northern Cluster ClientsYou will be responsible for developing and co-ordinating the delivery of customers and targeting either existing clients who have not realised their potential to date or scale customers who fit withintargetsegmentations but with whom we currently do littleor no business.You willdraw from the full range of offerings, developing materials and working closely with internal teams to win business.About the role

  • The key deliverables will be account playbooks which end (rather than start) with tender activity, understanding and building relationships with the key decision makers at the customer for profitable growth
  • Understand deeply the allocated targeted Incubation Accounts operating environment and challenges.
  • Develop the client playbook to win business with customers with whomour client has little or no business
  • Develop the Key account plans to grow business with customers
  • Work with the Marketing, CX, Commercial, Delivery, Innovation and design teams to deliver world class pitches perfectly adapted to the clients needs
  • Build relationships with regional Directors and their teams
  • Travel as required for meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Co-ordination and tailoring of presentation material and pitch to clients
  • Manage and co-ordinate the response to tenders
  • Co-ordinate the post business award period, working closely with the Delivery function and regionals to ensure business won is fully on boarded
  • Provide KPI reporting including sales forecasting to the head of Incubation
  • Keep up to date with regional supply and demand issues, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • Be fully aware of the various offers and category managers whom support them.
About you
  • College/University diplomaor significant relatable experience
  • A full driving licence
  • A strong ability to work independently and remotely with extensive travel
  • Driven to meet sales targets
  • Ability to deliver dynamic and professional presentations
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team with the central teams of CX, Marketing, Commercial, Innovation, Delivery and the Academy and also with the regional teams
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven success, knowledge and experience in Business Development role within FMCG.
  • A passion for Business Development and a hunter mentality. This is not an account management role. When accounts have transitioned, they will be transferred to Account Managers
  • Able to demonstrate building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Budget ownership plus providing input into budgets and forecasting
