Job Description

  • First point of contact for communications to the Associate Director of Governance and Compliance Lead
  • Responsible for providing a full range of administrative and secretarial support to the Associate Director of Governance and Compliance Lead
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues internally and external to the organisation.
  • Work flexibly as part of the Governance and Assurance Team, being sensitive to the needs of others and ensuring the smooth continuation of an effective service.
  • Filter and prioritise correspondence for the Associate Director of Governance and Compliance Lead when required.
  • Receive and process mail and telephone messages on own initiative as far as possible or in accordance with instructions.
  • Work flexibly as part of the team to maintain an efficient service especially in times of absence, i.e., annual and sickness leave.
Youll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
Youll have the following skills/experience:
  • Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
  • Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Previous admin experience
  • Previous NHS experience
  • NHS System Knowledge
