Are you a dynamic Food Technology and Textiles Teacher in the Wigan areaTradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding Food Technology and Textiles Teacher for a very popular school in Wigan. The role is to start after October half-term and will continue until Christmas in the first instance, with the potential to beextended. This position is a part-time, 0.6 position, with the Food Technology and Textiles Teacher being required to work on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Our client school are happy to consider applications from Early Career Teachers, Recently QualifiedTeachers and Fully Qualified Teachers. The pay rate for this position is between £100 and £189.52 per day.The successful candidate will be joining an oversubscribed, 11-16, Ofsted rated Good school with excellent transport links, situated near to the A580. The Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team have created an inclusive school community based on a senseof belonging and togetherness.The successful Food Technology and Textiles Teacher will be required to teach Food Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and Textiles across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The school follow the WJEC Hospitality and Catering syllabus at Key Stage 4so experience teaching this specification is essential.
