Job Description

Flexographic PrinterLocation: WiganSalary: DOECompany: A leading packaging manufacturer.Role:

  • Running multi-colour flexo presses
  • Ensuring that the area, equipment and machinery are kept clean and tidy
  • Troubleshooting issues with the printing press or print quality
  • Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental Policies relating to your work area are adhered to by you at all times
  • Carry out basic maintenance in accordance with standard procedures
Requirements:
  • Hold sufficient and recent flexographic printing experience
  • Have experience operating a flexo printer, specifically with experience of solvent based inks and wide web presses
  • Experience of Fischer Krecke 126S, 20SIX CS colour printers or BOBST printers an advantage
  • Strong background in manufacturing, either label or packaging printing
  • Experience of overseeing the work of others on the print press
  • Be aware of flexo print process
