Financial Controller3-6 month FTCWigan£200 per dayFinancial Controller required on an interim basis for one of our clients based in Wigan. This is an exciting opportunity for the Financial Controller to support the CFO with the management of the team of 4. The Financial Controller will be required to assist with year end preparation, facilitate processes, support on the budgets and provide any other support.Finance Controller Duties & Responsibilities;* Manage the income and reporting cycle: management and statutory reporting, reconciliations, VAT returns* Budget and forecasting processes* Work with the senior management team to develop project KPIs and provide regular feedback and insight to business unit directors * Take responsibility for the control environment* Identify and recommend potential operational efficiencies and improvements to procedures* Drive and improve the accounting reporting* Maintain balance sheet through regular reviews and monthly reconciliations* Assist in preparation of Statutory Accounts* Contact point for external auditors ensuring audits run smoothly* Completion of other regular ad hoc corporate requirementsFinancial Controller you will have the following skill set:* ACCA.
