Company details and job overview:We are delighted to partner with a growing distribution business based on the outskirts of Wigan who are looking to appoint a finance lead as part of the senior management team. The business have been established for over 10 years with a number ofrevenue streams and plan to double in turnover over the course of the next 18 months. Established across the UK with business abroad they are looking to add a talented Finance Manager who will be a pivotal part of the management team and someone to support the development of individuals and support the finance team to deliver accountingduties as a unit.Your new role as Finance Manager:As Finance Manager you shall enjoy a varied role. Managing the team of 3 you shall seek to enhance the reporting available to the board whilst implementing process and procedure to facilitate growth. A leader in a hands-on role you shalltake responsibility for all finance related duties, being the commercial lead in a growing organisation.Main Role Duties:

  • Manage and develop a team of 3 in the finance function
  • Completion of monthly Management Accounts and associated reporting
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations and control accounting
  • Ongoing development of process and procedure
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:To be considered you shall be part or fully CIMA /ACCA/ ACA qualified with strong technical skills and a proven track record of adding value in a management position. With experience in an SME environment you shall be seeking a varied rolewhich offers the opportunity to add value at a senior level. With a solid technical skill-set you shall be well rehearsed in the production of accounts both monthly/yearly and take the lead on improving internal controls.
