Bus Driver (Trainee and Qualified)Location: WiganSalary: £11.04 - £15.67 per hourOur client was created on 2nd June 2019, when The Go-Ahead Group took over operations at the historic Queens Road bus depot in the heart of Manchester.Since then, the company have worked hard to embed themselves firmly within the communities they serve. They run an extensive network of routes across Greater Manchester and Salford, including the 135, one of Manchesters busiest bus routes.The company will be operating bus services in Wigan from mid-September 2023. Please note, should you be invited to an assessment centre, this will be held at their Queens Road depot in Manchester. You will then be required to work here until September.The RoleYou will be a key player in connecting people and places, acting as an integral part of the local community and making a difference to thousands of peoples lives across Greater Manchester.The company are always looking for the friendliest, most outgoing, hard-working, team-playing, down-to-earth people to become bus drivers.Whether youve already got a licence to drive a bus or youre a complete newbie to the profession, they want to hear from you. They are looking for people with a positive can do attitude, who have good communication skills and the natural ability to deliverfirst class customer service, to a diverse range of customers.If you already hold a PCV licence, great! After your interview and medical, theyll fast track you through their Driver Academy and youll be on the road in no time.And if you cant drive a bus already, dont worry - theyll put take you through each of the steps to get your licence when you join their Driver Academy.All you need is a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points and the relevant right to work in the UK documents.Industry leading pay:
