Job Role :- Wood MachinistContract :- PermanentLocation :- Widnes (WA8 7QF)Salary :- £10- £12 per hour (DOE)Hrs :- Mon- Fri 08:30- 17:00We are currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist for our client based in Widnes whoare importers and manufacturers of speciality timber products.Job Purpose :-You will be supporting the Production Supervisor by taking responsibility for the grinding and maintenance of profile and straight knife cutters, setting stand and template marker, which are used to produce their profiled timber products. You will also be responsible for the moulding production line where high end timber is profiled.As a Wood Machinist , your duties will Include :-" Setting up and operating timber moulders (Weinig)." Grinding and maintenance of profile and straight knife cutters." Template Maker." Operating powermat &unimat." Using cross cut saw." Setting stand.The successful Wood Machinist will have the following skills :-" Operate fork lift truck (Full training will be provided)." Ability to multitask." Good communication." Excellent attention to detail." A "can do" attitude."
