Job Description

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our client in WidnesOur client is a 3PL working on behalf of a leading distributorAbout the role:We are recruiting for the position of Warehouse Supervisor to run a busy warehouse with multiple departments.The position would be to oversee the Supervision of a team 8/10employees rising to 12 during busy periods

  • Management of warehouse staff, including managing KPI & #39;s, motivating and ensuring quality
  • Performance management including coaching and developing staff
  • Encourage continuous improvement & further develop processes
  • Ensure Health and Safety standards are upheld, housekeeping and general site standards
  • Maintain company policies and regulations making sure they are understood and being adhered to
  • Ensure machinery and MHE equipment is well maintained, safe and fit for purpose
  • Assisting in daily production activities where required to ensure all deliveries are completed throughout the day.
What are we looking for
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, ideally working in a similar industry
  • Excellent people management skills and team skills with the ability to drive the warehouse team through challenging and busy periods to meet deadlines
  • First class communication skills being able to communicate from shop floor through to senior management collaboratively across departments
  • Enthusiastic self motivator with a can do attitude to embrace challenges
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office
  • Experienced FLT counterbalance driver
