We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join us based in Widnes. This is a full-time, permanent position working 45 hours per week, and in return, our Transport Administrator will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.The ReFood AD plants operate as integrated recycling units, processing a variety of food wastes to produce renewable electricity, heat, and DynAgro, a nutrient-rich fertiliser for local farms. The plants also recycle the food waste packaging. The plantsprovide an environmentally sustainable solution for all waste producers looking for a safe method of diverting food waste from landfills.As our Transport Administrator your duties and responsibilities will include: - Dealing with queries by telephone and email from service delivery- Dealing with drivers and driver hours ensuring they are compliant- Planning fleet services and MOTs in accordance to the O licence requirements- Assisting with effective route planning- Inputting service sheets onto the service planner and ensuring an effective filing system for all transport documentation to ensure compliance obligations are met- Ensure employed drivers cards and vehicle tachographs are downloaded within set guidelines- Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Management TeamWhat we are looking for in our Transport Administrator: - Good working knowledge of the transport industry- Previous experience within a similar role- Good written and verbal communication skills- Highly organised and efficient- Be able to work well individually and within a team- IT literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook- Have good geographical knowledge- Willingness to be flexible in approach to workClosing Date: Friday 30th July 2021If you would like to join us as our Transport Administrator, then apply now.
