Job Description

Acorn Recruitment are searching for a Technical Key Account Manager with business development skills to join our client, a speciality manufacturing business based in Runcorn. Reporting directly to the Business Director, the purpose of the role is to generate and develop new business across the UK. Managing key accounts, upselling and cross selling to existing customers. Generating new leads and converting new leads to customers.Duties will include:* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Accounts* Develop new and existing product lines through technical selling techniques * Ensure delivery of Revenue, Margin and Volume targets* Forecast and track Key Account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)* Engage with customers via face to face and virtual meetings The successful candidate must have a genuine flair for sales and a desire to succeed. Must have previous, proven experience in technical business development and key account management. The ability to create and maintain strong relationships with internal andexternal stakeholders is essential.A full UK driving licence is essential as the role is a national role covering the UK.A degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is desirable. The role is full time 37.5hrs per week - flexible - home based / office based - Field basedSalary is dependent on the level of knowledge and experience to offer.
