Job Description

Key Stage 2 Teaching AssistantPart Time Position (9am - 12pm)Temporary position1th September 2022 - 31st February 2023On behalf of a Widnes-based Primary School, Tradewind Recruitment seek to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Teaching Assistant to work one to one with a pupil in Year 6.You will need to:

  • Have well developed inter-personal skills to be able to relate well to a wide range of people;
  • have excellent communication skills;
  • Have a sense of humour, be approachable and sensitive to the needs of others;
  • Be committed to the needs of the child, parents and other stakeholders;
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change;
  • Act with pace and urgency by being energetic, enthusiastic and decisive;
  • Be able to consistently follow a structured plan;
  • Have an ambition and the desire to make a difference with the ability to support, motivate and inspire children;
  • Have an understanding of how to raise standards for children within their intervention groups;
