A rare and exciting opportunity to join the Supply Chain team in the UK and Ireland at a time of growth and change.Role Info:Supply Chain Administrator - TemporaryWidnesCompetitive Salary DOEPlus Company Benefits PackageWho we are:With over 115,000 customers across 100 countries, we are a leading $9 billion global distributor of speciality consumables, food ingredients and chemicals serving the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and manufacturing industries.The Role:Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role will be responsible for coordinating inbound freight in line with post Brexit legislation to ensure the seamless flow of goods.Key Responsibilities and Tasks:+ Coordinates international air, sea and land freight transactions+ Assist supply chain teams preparing Import/Export documentation for intercompany movements including but notlimited to Letters of Credit, Shipping Letter of Instruction, invoices and packing lists+ Works with material suppliers to facilitate frictionless border crossings of materials+ Maintains the shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information on request+ Interfaces with brokers and freight forwarders to obtain compliance with company requirements+ Works with local customs agents as required+ Coordinate with internal departments to ensure shipments are consistent with customer requirements, to support the timely delivery and to communicate to the field regarding order requests+ Prepares Shipping paperwork as well as completes shipping transactions in SAP (and other systems if required)+ Ensures all Master data is up-to-date and accurate in SAPWe Are Looking ForA highly organised individual with strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the business.
