Acorn by Synergie is proud to be recruiting for Site Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis for our National Processing client, based centrally in Widnes.The successful candidates will be working as part of a team processing incinerator bottom ash to aid in the recovery of ferrous and non ferrous metals through the operation of static process plant.* Please note that a drugs abuse test will be required before starting this role *Duties will include:* Working on a picking station* Clean-down* Routine machine maintenance* Manual handling* Ensuring safety is paramount and reporting any defectsThe ideal candidate will:* Enjoy working in a busy environment* Be able to work as part of a team in a safe manner* Maintain a tidy work area, practise good housekeeping and ensure all equipment is well maintained* Contribute improvement ideas and actively take part in health and safety meetingsHours:* Monday to Friday* 6:30am - 6pm* Additional hours on Saturday (optional)* Two 30-minute breaks per shift - one paid, one unpaid (equating to 11 hours paid per shift)Salary: £30,000 per annum (£11.23 per hour)The company offers a clear path of rates and training and progression within the businessBenefits:* Weekly Pay* Accrued Holiday Pay* Pension Contributions* Free on site parking* Access to the Acorn Rewards SchemeThere are immediate starts available, so please apply straight away!Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
