Are you a qualified Secondary Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity to impact the lives of young people through your teachingAn exciting opportunity has arisen at an Ofsted rated Good high school in Widnes. The school are looking for a Maths Intervention Teacher to provide small group tuition to pupils up to Year 11. Initially, this role will be full time (5 hours per day, Monday- Friday) for the first two weeks, with a minimum of two full days per week thereafter. This placement will continue until the end of May 2023, paying £30 per hour.To become a Secondary Maths Intervention Teacher, you will need to hold QTS status or equivalent teaching experience. You will need KS3 and KS4 teaching experience and be knowledgeable of a number of GCSE syllabus including AQA and Edexcel. A current Childworkforce DBS on the update service is essential as this role is to begin as soon as possible.The NTP is a government programme launched in 2020 to provide educational support to children whos education has been disrupted as a result of school closures in response to the Covid19 pandemic. TP Tutors are looking for Secondary Maths InterventionTeachers to deliver tuition in our partnership schools across the Merseyside area.As a Secondary Maths Intervention Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high quality, targeted 1:1 and small group tuition. You will also be required to complete post session feedback using Teaching Personnels online portal, LEAP. We provide competitiverates of pay at £25 - £40, dependant on tuition group size and teaching experience.To become a Secondary Maths Intervention Teacher, you will need to hold QTS status or equivalent teaching experience.
