Job Description

We are delighted to share that we now have an exciting new role for a Sales Support Supervisor at our Head Office in Widnes.The RoleWorking as out Sales Support Supervisor, you will oversee the support across the complete spectrum of sales activity with internal stakeholders and external customers in support of the Commercial Team. You will be accountable for the following:Customer Focus Ensure the Sales Support team follow up of all quotes, obtain customer feedback and update quote status in our operating system Track the Sales Support teams quote accuracy for both Spot and tender quotesSales Excellence Weekly monitors Sales internal KPIs and define adequate action plans Ensure the quotes are corrected into our operating system to reflect actual cost Support the Tender Manager by setting up the routing and costing of different lanes of the Tender Provide analysis and reports on sales activity, wins and losses at weekly team meetings, as well as preparation for monthly/quarterly higher-level meetings and board reports Works alongside operational and accounts receivable teams to ensure customer payments are received in a timely fashion and to resolve overdue payment issues when they occur Ensure the group set target in terms of margin, destination, demurrage terms are understood by the team and applied Liaise with Sales Managers & Sales administration to prepare, submit and track the weekly sales forecastingLeadership Lead, Manage and Hold the regional sales team accountable for the performance Train sales team to usage of the operating tool from quote creation to job closing Motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved, sales targets and KPI target are met Recognizes and reward individual achievements Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage and distribute the workload accordingly Lead regular personal conversation, set yearly business and induvial development targetsSkills and Experience +5 years administrational experience, preferably within a fast-paced sales environment Experience working with, and managing internal and external sub-contractors Knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding/NVOCC services, chemical sectors would be an advantage Ability to motivate, lead teams Clear and effective communication Excellent interpersonal skills - friendly, open and positive Strong IT skills, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint are essential Reliable, confident and detail orientated individual Demonstrates strong customer service skills Numerate, analytical and IT literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM platformsReward & Benefits:In return, you will receive a competitive and attractive salary.
