Job Description

Working 37.5 hours per week when you join Gateway Recovery Centre in Widnes and embark on a career where you are valued and supported in everything you do as a Safeguarding Coordinator.Joining the team at the Gateway Recovery Centre, you will also support the centre with safeguarding administration including the recording and documentation of all safeguarding concerns.You will also arrange and chair a weekly safeguarding forum with external parties as well as overseeing the safeguarding process for investigations.At Elysium, we want the best for you.   • Point of contact for support and advise within the hospital.
  • Review incidents and concerns
  • Gather further information.
  • Review care and treatment plans
  • Ensure interim measures in place to prevent further harm/risk.
  • Ensures correct processes and policies are adhered to.
  • Arrange and chair a weekly Safeguarding forum with Halton Borough Council
  • Share minutes/information of the forum with the Senior Management Team
  • Ensure actions are followed up in a timely manner.
  • Update documentation on safeguarding/care concern discussions
  • Keep the patient up to date with processes.
  • Attend monthly Safeguarding Meeting
  • Oversee the entire process of Safeguarding investigations and Provider Led Concerns
To be successful in this role, youll need:
  • Previous experience within a similar role and/or environment.
  • Good IT/computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Plan and prioritise workload.
