Job Description

My client is already a market leader & is rapidly growing, with contracts, networks & demand in the UK & Europe. I am looking for a Project Manager who will be based out of their Widnes North West Head Office, who will support the Teams across the UK insuccessful advancement of all contracts & projected works, successfully plan, control and implement projects in accordance with the business objects and maintain profitability, quality , customer satisfaction and maximise gross margin profits across the business.If you have demonstrable experience of Project Management in the telecoms industry, in particular:

  • Installations or maintenance of microwave & radio engineering experience.
  • Working at height (medically certified) PPE inspection certified, LOWER / PUWER certified
What will the role require
  • Define the project scope and plan.
  • Produce project documentation pre and post implementation.
  • Liaise with Operations manager to allocate engineering resource to the projects.
  • Manage the sub-contractors on a daily basis to ensure safe working practices in accordance with current legislation.
  • Manage junior members of the project team and provide mentoring to improve project deliverable.
  • Direct responsibility for budgetary control on Approved projects.
  • Manage any change requests or additions to the scope of works as set out in the contract.
  • Primary point of contact with the customers implementation team.
  • Liaise with sales/account manager for up sell into the customer
  • Ensure all supervised personnel are working in compliance to H & S Policy.
  • Take care of their own safety and that of others
  • Ensure that products, plant, equipment, vehicles and buildings are not damaged.
  • Will not neglect, misuse, damage anything provided in the interest of health and safety
  • Ensure Sub contractors are qualified and have the appropriate documentation for the project.
