Job Description

Operations Director Job in WidnesDovetail Recruitment are excited to be working with a growing business with excellent potential. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Operations Director to be part of great future business growth within a role you are able to shape. The Operations Director will be a key part of this thriving business and responsible for bringing in positive change and really getting to know the company inside-out.This Operations Director is a strategic position reporting to the CFO where you will have full P&L responsibility for both Operations and Finance departments. You will also work closely with the Sales Director.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Operations teams to provide a class leading supply chain capable of delivering our products
  • Work with supply chain & logistics partners to set, establish and adhere to appropriate KPIs, ensuring a lean and efficient fulfilment process
  • Ensure appropriate legal agreements are in place and maintained with key business partners
  • Oversee management accounts for company accounts into monthly Group reporting packs
  • Preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Management of company insurance to ensure the correct policies & coverage are in place
  • Promote the values of Group within both the Operations & Finance teams and wider Group.
  • Work pro-actively with other departments in the business to support overall company objectives
  • Attend Senior Leadership Meetings representing Operations & Finance teams
  • Providing support, coaching and leadership to the Operations & Finance teams within the company
    • Knowledge & Experience:
  • Experience within FMCG or Retail businesses
  • Understanding of financial reporting
  • Operations management experience
  • Change management experience would be highly desirable
    • Salary & Benefits:
  • 65 - 70k + bonus
  • 23 days holiday increasing with service and ability to buy/sell additional holidays
