Job Description

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT PART QUALIFIED OR QUALIFIED£35,000 -£43,000 DOEHYBRID AND FLEXI TIME WIDNES Our client who specialises in infrastructure Services and have multiple sites across the country are currently looking for a Management Accountant ( PQ/Qual) to join the team. They are currently undergoing a huge period of growth and hoping to growThe role is to provide management accounts and journal postings for a project team to assist in the monthly analysis of company overheads and budgeting. You will be Part Qualified or Qualified with a clear background and understanding of Management Accountduties and be confident in producing factual and accurate accounting.DUTIES:

    • Review month-end Management Accounts information.
    • Produce month-end Management Accounts and journal postings.
    • Complete Direct cost accruals and assist in the month-end WIP processes.
    • Calculate, review, and post internal cost allocations.
    • Calculate team / department salary allocations and journals per month.
    • Complete a monthly analysis of company overheads and variance to budgets.
    • Review transactional data postings for accuracy from a General Ledger / Reporting Analysis / Job Ledger costing perspective.
    • Manage and reconcile transactional data between General Ledger Entries and Job Ledger Entries.
    • Assist in preparing company and group monthly finance packs which include reports on Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Working Capital.
    • Complete Balance Sheet Account reconciliations.
    • Assist in central governance processes for reviewing and managing job card accuracy through to job completions.
    • Assist in inter-month Flash reporting.
EXPERIENCE:
    • Part qualified CIMA / ACCA studier or QBE minimum 3 years of experience working within finance including exposure to profit & loss and balance sheet reporting.
    • Numerically minded with good commercial acumen and passionate about building a successful career within finance.
    • Experience of working within construction and/or a services environment desirable but not essential.
    • Good level of IT skills including excel, and other Microsoft packages.
    • Experience of working in the Telecommunications or similar industry.
    • Adept at manipulating client tools/reports on a regular basis.Business Central skills are advantageous.
