Job Description

The Key Account Manager Chemicals & Services is responsible for creating a profitable and sustainable business relationship with key accounts. The successful candidate will also be responsible to deliver gross profit growth in the UK.Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
  • Review performance against agreed objectives
  • Be able to explain variances to budgets
  • Take corrective actions where appropriate to recover budget levels
  • Develop business at customers by delivering and converting a strong target pipeline
  • Identify lost business through gap analysis
  • Manage gross profit margins
  • Plan appropriate customer visits
  • Keep up to date with market prices and competitor activity
  • Record and follow up on quotations
  • Implement the Company container policy
  • Actively promote the company’s product range at customers
  • Keep customer record cards up to date in the CRM tool, salesforce.com.
  • Liaise with European Corporate Accounts
We Are Looking ForIf you have previous experience in Key Account Management in the B2B selling space, then this job may be perfect for you! You will need to demonstrate communication and organisational skills, as these are critical in this fast moving, multi-tasking environment.If you are a goal oriented, then you should apply for this role. Previous experience in chemical or distribution market is ideal. This role requires travel round the North of UK.
