Job Description

2nd Line Support Analyst £25k plus 25 days holiday and a strong benefits packageWidnes basedAre you a 2nd Line Support /Service Desk Analyst looking for an interesting role with progression opportunities This role is for a well-established logistics company, based in Widnes. They are mainly working with Microsoft Technologies as well as some Citrix technologies. The role is working on site, and the business are currently key workers due to the nature of the business, so you must be comfortable working in a Covid-safe environmentResponsibilities

  • Provide 1st line support logging incidents and requests
  • Provide 2nd Line support troubleshooting these incidents where possible, and escalate the issue if it cant be resolved
  • Ensure correct documentation when resolving and escalating tickets
  • Work efficiently to ensure SLAs are met
  • Visiting sites when required, and desk side support as well
  • Work collaboratively within the team, providing support where you can and learn from team members
  • Provide out of hours support on a rotary basis
  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Must have a driving license and a car
  • At least 2 years experience as a 2nd Line Support/ Service desk Analyst
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications and Active Directory
  • Good understanding Active Directory and administration experience
  • Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot faults
  • Citrix, Lan and Wan experience
  • It would be great if you had
  • ITIl qualification
  • A desire to progress within the company
  • Experience working in a multi-national company
