Directly responsible for management of company policy & continuous improvement dynamic, in order to reach best in class standards, in Health & Safety & Environment practices.- Ensure safety of all employees / visitors / sub-contractors on site, at all times.- Accept no compromise to HSE issues and risks, across site.- Provide and apply knowledge and expertise in HSE practices, in order to reducethe "levels of risk" on site.- Disseminate and educate HSE strategy to employees. SupportCore Responsibilities- Understand and respect Group Philosophy, principles and core values.- Respect and drive HSE compliance across site.- Foster and develop relationships with internal customers and Support Functions.- Be the site SAFETY champion - continually identify improvement opportunities.- Responsible for employee education and competence levels, required to adhere to HSE standards.Main Tasks- Enforce HSE rules as TOP prioirity - ensure compliance to HSE regulations.- Process the local legal requirements (deliverables external to the site for local authorities) regarding Safety, Ergonomics and Environment.- Develop, deploy and monitor a professional risk assessment & site impact assessment.- Continually implement Occupational Risk Assessments on site - increase awareness by training selected employees to create & maintain RAs.- Maintain accreditation to IMS ISO standards, ISO45001, ISO14001, & ISO9001.- Take responsibility for KPIs.- Increase Near Miss reporting and actively assist in eliminating issues.- Maintain softweare related to HSE- Create and develop a "we are all involved" when pointing out hazards atmosphere- Improve on HSE culture - increase awareness to become second nature!- Continually increase awareness of Environmental practices across site.- Eliminate any potential environmental pollution & hazards.- Sustainability - minimise Carbon Footprint, energy consumption, water consumption as per Group guidelines.- Optimise waste recycling activity - promote internally.- Ensure all employees / visitors / sub-contractors have received a H&S induction.- Develop, deploy and monitor ULD assessments across site.- Perform full ergonomics diagnoses: Physical, Cognitive and Organizational, with a multi-functional team. Manage the corrective action plan.- Continually identify HSE Best Practise and apply to the business- Challenge existing practices.- Lead change management and social impacts.- Be able to influence and convince teams. Increase team cooperation to achieve collective performance.- Responsible for employee training and competence levels required to satisfy HSE requirements.- Develop and update training matrices, as required.
