GRADUATE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANTFLEXIBLE SALARY & BONUSSTUDY SUPPORTWIDNESRobert Walters are recruiting on behalf of a thriving business that having experienced year on year growth are looking to expand their high performing finance function with the addition of a Graduate Assistant Accountant Working directly alongside the CFO and FC this role provides full exposure covering all aspects of accounting and offers a formal study contract towards CIMA/ACCA. The ideal candidate will come from a strong academic background achieving a 2:1 or above witha genuine interest in finance, wanting to study towards an accountancy qualification.Key Responsibilities * Complete quality month end balance sheet reconciliations* Produce daily exception and cost reports* Process Sales and Purchase ledger invoices.* Paying suppliers and reconcile Suppliers statements.* Review Customers accounts and reconcile.* Bank Reconciliations.* Be a key part of the month end reporting process* Develop effective working relationships with the key resources in the business.* Review current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.* Monitor day-to-day expected cash inflows to input into cash flow reporting.Key Requirements * Wanting to study/early on towards CIMA/ACCA * Basic accounting experience* Strong excel skills and good attention to detail.* Sales and purchase ledger processing experience.* Highly organised and excellent verbal and written skills* Ability to work both individually and as part of a small team.* Have high standards for quality of delivery from yourself and from others.* Great at building positive, productive relationships.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
