Job Description

Fire Contract ManagerHousing AssociationAbout The Client:Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Merseyside based housing association who are looking to appoint a Fire Contract Manager on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid and agile working.Fire ContractManagerHousing AssociationAbout The Role:

  • Act as the organisations responsible person for fire safety.
  • Be the responsible person/ manager for the overall procurement, implementation, management, delivery, reporting and performance of all property-related regulatory and statutory compliance requirements regarding Fire Safety
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organisations compliance policies whilst ensuring all appropriate procedures/ standards are fit for purpose, robust and implemented/ adhered to.
  • Ensure all associated testing, servicing, upgrading and maintenance of appropriate systems including Fire Alarm Systems, Automatic Ventilation Systems, Dry Riser Systems, Portable Firefighting Equipment, Emergency Lighting, Fire Suppression & Smoke ControlSystems is in place and report against
  • Review and update appropriate risk registers as and when required.
  • Review performance of contractors, consultants and other organisations engaged by the company to undertake contracts or services.
Fire ContractManagerHousing AssociationWhat You Need:
  • Professional qualification in property/building related area (MIFSM, MCIOB, MRICS, CMIOSH, MBIFM)
  • NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate or equivalent
  • High level of knowledge in relation to housing association compliance services, regulation, and best practice.
