Job Description

ESTIMATOR/JUNIOR ESTIMATOR (METAL WORK) Have you gained experience in Engineering/Metal Work or Manufacturing as an Estimator or Estimator AssistantDo you have exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail and are looking to work in a fast paced roleIf yes to the above, then I have the role for you.I am currently recruiting for a rapidly growing business in the Ductwork industry. This is the perfect opportunity for a fresh graduate looking for their first opportunity within industry, or someone in their early stages of their career looking for thatnext step to expand their knowledge.The role of Estimator will be to support the company director and production team in the nesting/planning of Ductwork ventilation Manufacturing.Package:

  • Salary - £18,000 - £25,000 (Depending on level of experience)
  • MondayThursday 07:00am5:00pmFridays off
  • Or Monday to Thursday 08:005:00pm and Friday 08:00am1:00pm
  • 20 Days holidays + Bank Holidays
  • Pension
  • Based in the Halton Area
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the production team in the planning of production and ensuring projects are competed in timely manner.
  • Use a bespoke internal system to plan jobs and estimate costs of materials.
  • Ordering materials and overseeing stock.
  • Assisting in administration in the office.
  • Dealing with suppliers.
  • Supporting additional office staff in busy periods
Required Skills & Experience
  • A self-starter who is happy to work in a fast paced environment
  • To be driven and motivated
  • Previous experience with the use of CAD or Similar Software (This could be within your degree)
  • A degree that uses CAD such as construction, architectural technology, product design, design engineering or related or relevant on the job experience.
  • Experience within Metals or Ductwork Manufacturing (Advantage but not essential).
