Page is working with a Retail Company based in Widnes. Our client has a vacancy for an experienced Credit Controller on a full-time permanent basis. This role is offering up to £25,000 per annum and the successful applicant will be required to carry outthe following duties...Client DetailsThis company has big plans in place for the future and since last year have already doubled their overall turnover. They are based within Widnes but also own companies across the UK. Now is a really exciting time to join this expanding teamDescription* Updating the Sterling, Euro and E commerce bank accounts, updating the list on teams and uploading to Sage. Record card payments and cheque lodgments as and when required* Check for proforma payments to release orders* Send billing documents to customers when required* Update customer accounts of any changes to billing/contact details* Occasional assistance with sales orders when required* New account processing- form, credit report, first order details, sage set up with terms and limit* Confirm or place orders on hold when required* Processing pricing, quantity or quality credit notesWeekly* Debt Report Processing and customer payment chasing* Return credit notes from goods received into warehouseMonthly* EU sales VAT report upload* Barclaycard reconciliation for received card payments* Request statements from suppliers when required to ensure all is correct* Send postal and e-billing statements* Ensure all receipts are posted referring to Danske statement - Sterling, Euro, E commerce* Go through potential bad debt list with management to discuss payment plans/legal strategiesCandidates wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years recent experience working within a Credit Control role.Profile
