We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Control Room Operative to join us based in Widnes. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis working 12-hour shifts on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern (days and nights), and in return, our Control Room Operativewill receive a competitive salary plus benefits.Originally founded as Prosper De Mulder Limited in 1926; SARIA’s UK operations have a market-leading presence in a wide range of sectors associated with the food chain.The Group’s companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. The Company has a UK annual turnover approaching £280 million and employs around 1,000 people at 23 sites across the country.As our Control Room Operative, your duties and responsibilities will include:- Overseeing the process including the electrical generation from renewable energy sources- Working under Health and Safety guidelines- Continuous process operation- Ensuring finished product quality- Troubleshooting production//engineering problems on a busy Energy Plant, including basic engineering knowledge- Working as a team member- Logging and sampling data- Ensuring environmental and general compliance under IPPS regulations and EMS 14001 accreditationAs a Control Room Operative, you should have:- Previous experience within a manufacturing/factory environment- A proactive approach to problem-solving and producing appropriate solutions to reduce disruption to working processes- A calm and methodical approach to work and the ability to work under pressure within time constraints- The ability to manage workload and daily tasks effectively and troubleshoot as and when required- Good team working skills to help the team be developed and maintainedClosing Date: 23rd April 2021If you would like to join us as our Control Room Operative, then apply now.
