Job Description

Carme Home - About UsWe are an international, online Furniture and Home Decor company are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Customer Service Executive to join our dynamic team.This is an amazing opportunity to join a young, rapidly expanding company with offices in the UK and the Far East.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering a first-class service every time and offering swift resolutions for customers in line with company policies.The RoleReporting to the Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for but not limited to.

  • Managing the customer service on a variety of online marketplace platforms including Amazon, eBay, ETSY our own website and other sales channels.
  • Responding to queries on social media and live chat within a timely manner.
  • Reporting common patterns of complaints or queries to the Customer Service Manager and company Directors.
  • Following up with customer reviews and liaising with the Marketing Team for positive reviews to be promoted on our social channels.
  • Communicating with external contacts including our warehouse and courier team.
  • Logging and following up all queries and complaints to relay back to the Customer Service Manager.
  • Supporting customers throughout the entire customer journey
  • Work towards allocated targets and KPIs
  • Working towards team objective
  • Liaising with courier companies
  • Dealing with refunds and returns.
  • Assisting with assembly of samples for photoshoots.
  • General administration and ad hoc duties.
  • Assisting with the Head of E-Commerce/Digital to spot any errors or making improvements on our product listings, website etc, whilst ensuring the customer journey is as smooth as possible.

  • The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the skills to adapt accordingly to change whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • Someone who can work within a team environment and also independently using their own initiative.
  • Must have excellent telephone manner with both verbal and written English skills.
  • Organised, professional work ethic with strong time management skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s previous experience working in an E-Commerce environment. (Amazon and eBay customer service experience essential.)
