Operations Assistant £28KWeybridgeMy global client a leader in the technology field with HQs in USA are seeking a bright friendly switched on candidate to join their vibrant, friendly and quirky offices based in Weybridge.The operations assistant will be part of the wider Operations team ensuring the smooth running of the office. The successful candidate will work as part of the Operations team, with a range of responsibilities, within a varied position with no two days thesame.Responsibilities General office co-ordination - first point of contactReception duties - welcoming visitors; receiving deliveries; dealing with post/shippingAnswering phone calls & dealing with enquiries in a prompt mannerOrganising meeting rooms and lunches, internally and externallyOrdering stationeryLiaison global officesPoint of contact for arranging passports and visas for the UK teamHR AdministrationMaintaining HR records, ensuring the information is up-to-dateOrganisation of US travel & accommodation for new traineesLogistical support for events and recruitment fairsOrganising ground transport for UK team and overseas visitors to the UKResearching Covid-19 travel requirements and restrictionsResponsible for keeping and updating the Training Course ScheduleLiaison with clients to arrange training coursesDealing with all Corporate Apartment queries and maintenance issues and visit to do monthly checksAd hoc assistance with events and trade shows.Skills and Requirements:Ideally educated to degree level or equivalentExcellent English language and communication skills, both written and oralOrganised administrator used to working in a busy officeAbility to take on responsibility and manage multiple jobs and deadlines concurrentlyAbility to work well under pressure and to juggle priorities appropriatelyAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedWillingness to embrace change, be flexible and demonstrate tolerance to changing prioritiesAbility/willingness to occasionally work outside normal office hours as requiredAbility to travel, sometimes internationally - this will very occasionally be requiredDiscreet, dependable and respectful of specific procedures and confidentialityConfident working in a multicultural, international and dynamic environmentKey office skills: very good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
