The role of EMEA Financial Accountant is part of the UK based EMEA Shared Services Finance team that supports the EMEA functions. Based in large modern offices in the Weybridge area with free parking provided and easy access via public transport.Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 working from home per weekDescriptionThe Financial Accountant - EMEA (Nordics / HYBRID / PQ) role involves:AUDIT AND TAX RESPONSIBILITIES RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation of statutory and regulatory audits in the NordicsPro-active liaison with local tax advisers for Nordics including preparation and submission of return and reports to local tax advisors.Preparation and submission of monthly and annual VAT returns for Nordics.Work closely with Global Tax department to provide information and calculations as requested, including items required for Corporation tax returns, plan and forecastPreparation of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for Nordics Corporate tax and VAT accountsCOMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation of intercompany agreements, including calculations and presenting documents for review by International Legal and Global taxAssistance with payments from local banks (Nordea)ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES Monthly journal entries for Nordics accruals and prepayments including override commissions, VAT, Transfer pricing and related intercompany transactions.Monthly / quarterly reconciliations for Nordic Banks, override commissions, VAT, Corporate Tax, etcResponsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are updatedProfileThe ideal candidate for the Financial Accountant - EMEA (Nordics / HYBRID / PQ) role will
