This is an exciting opportunity in a start-up environment for someone who will play a fundamental role in direct channel development by driving sales of QSC products in to major accounts in alignment with overall business objectives.   • Develop strategy and comprehensive business plan for direct marketing to agreed accounts by specific market sector and QSC’s systems products.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with external direct sales team as well as internal customer team.
  • In collaboration with the product development teams, participate in market research, competitor and customer surveys and market analysis activities
  • Maintain complete and current records on clients and prospects. Populate all relevant client information into CRM
  • Attend key industry events and training in order to maintain and develop knowledge and skills while keeping up with industry trends and technology
  • Manage any relevant external marketing agency activities of telemarketing and research.
  • Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct marketing and sales reporting purposes.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
  • Job Requirements/QualificationsEducation
  • Education to degree level or qualification in industry relevant field is preferred
  • Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ business development experience within the AV field is required
  • Broad and comprehensive understanding and experience in high end Audio, Video and Control (AVC) systems integration over a wide range of market segments with focus on Corporate AV applications including networking, telephony, video conferencing and control implementation
  • Must have proven consultative sales experience
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting aggressive sales quotas
  • Proven successful track record in selling audio visual or IT infrastructure
  • Prior experience selling services NOT exclusively based on hardware
  • Prior experience selling products and services to Tier 1 integrators and end users
  • Experienced managing complex sales cycles with a consultative approach
  • Manage sensitive information, both commercial and technical while maintaining confidentiality
  • Demonstrated project management skills to establish strategic goals and to prioritize, plan, delegate and evaluate deliverables
  • Knowledge and Skills
  • Fluent in English Language skills; both verbal and written
  • Must be fluent with computer technologies, networked audio systems, and DSP technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form strong working relationships quickly
  • Confident and possesses strong problem solving and negotiation skills; ability to influence and make recommendations at all levels
  • Highly motivated and results oriented - driven to succeed
  • Excellent presentation skills with the proven ability to successfully engage with all levels and be able to operate in a flexible, virtual operating environment as needed
  • Commercially astute with the ability to understand and analyze a complex sales proposition
  • Comprehensive understanding of audio, video and networking is essential
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of UK integration market and industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of QSC products preferred
