Are you ready for a new challenge Do you want to extend your Leadership and coaching skills Would you like to lead a team whilst still keeping a clinical focus We are looking for someone who has orthopaedic / surgical experience in the acute hospital setting, for the post of Orthopaedic and Surgical Occupational Therapy Team Leader within the Occupational Therapy Team based at Wexham Park Hospital.The occupational therapy service at Wexham Park Hospital is based in five teams covering Orthopaedics & surgery, Neuro rehabilitation, Medicine, emergency care (A&E), Palliative care and Hand injuries.This is an exciting time to be part of the Acute Occupational Therapy Service. The post holder can expect to be fully involved in the planning and development of initiatives aimed at improving the flow of patients through acute care as well as innovative future workforce solutions. This post would be ideal for someone who is looking to develop their skills in the leadership, management of multi-professional teams and supporting and developing team members whilst still using their highly specialist clinical skills. The post holder will provide highly specialised skills and leadership to the acute OT service, and must be flexible and able to move between teams as appropriate.Our Occupational Therapy department has a friendly, supportive atmosphere and a real team ethic, we know how to look after our staff - making sure they achieve the ideal work-life balance.
