It’s an exciting time to join us and grow as a professional – while playing your part in the delivery of first class cancer care.Eden Day Unit, based at Wexham Park Hospital, is an extremely busy and friendly chemotherapy day unit, providing chemotherapy and immunotherapy for patients with all types of cancers. We have just recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme and we are able to provide excellent care in a wonderful, brand new facility.An incredible, exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic , enthusiastic , highly motivated senior sister / charge nurse to operationally manage a busy chemotherapy day unit.You will possess clinical expertise relevant to a chemotherapy setting . The post holder will act as a resource for the patients , and all team members of the MDT as required.The senior sister / charge nurse will actively lead and support in the further development and expansion of chemotherapy services at Frimley Health alongside the senior cancer management team.You will have significant experience at a band 6 in oncology / haematology / chemotherapy setting in an acute trust. You will have up to date knowledge on local and national strategies around chemotherapy and cancer services.The mentor prep or relevant teaching qualification and the administration in chemotherapy course is essential to the role.We will offer:
