We have an exciting opportunity for a full time, highly motivated individual to join our chemotherapy Day Unit managing elective admissions for chemotherapy at Wexham Park Hospital.You will be working alongside our nursing teams in a patient facing role.You will be required to work closely with the day unit team, other external members of the MDT and report directly to the Lead Chemotherapy Nurse.You will need to be a confident decision maker and possess sound interpersonal skills including excellent communication, clerical, customer service, strong organisational skills along with being able to work under pressure.You will have an aptitude for data and information, preferably with an NHS background and experience in Cancer Services. Experience of using NHS IT systems and the Aria system would be desirable.You will be responsible for organizing patients chemotherapy treatment ensuring that person centered care is delivered in a timely and professional manner and work to deadlines in line with local and national requirements.For further details / informal visits contact:Siobhan Whittaker - Eden Day Unit Matron/Lead Chemotherapy Nurse
